Next word prediction

I think I may be doing something wrong, Ive ticked the box to have next word prediction, but when I am typing it shows the prediction which is normally right, when I press it to add, it just shows a Dot not the word, maybe I am doing something wrong so any tips would be helpful. THXs

Yeah it does that sometimes when it thinks youre done with the sentence thats another reason why I disabled t9 altogether. Too much of a hassle to setup.
