Call me old fashioned, but, like Furball, I prefer to keep my info off the cloud.
HP is coming out with the new Pre3 in a couple of months which has a larger screen and keyboard than the Pre2... perhaps I may go that route, as webOS calendars the way I like, and hopefully, it will sync the way I want too.... time will tell....

I respect that, Google has enough information on anybody, but I don't think you can hide anything, they will get it if they want it.
Either way your choice, I don't care about letting them see my contacts and my daily calender.
Everything else is on the phone, even then I don't know how safe is it on my phone. The Android OS that is open source is not the same Code that we have on our phone, it's modified and only Google knows what they did there, but following that logic you can apply it to apple as well, but Apple doesn't have the history Google does.
