Hi all,

I accidentally stumbled on a method to reduce the apps page to a birds eye view. Come in handy if you have many apps pages and need to quickly access a certain page.

Here's how >>> In the Apps page, just pinch the screen and all you apps pages will be reduced to birds eye view. Tap on any page to bring it up to normal size.

SGS Froyo.

Update: This "pinch" function can work on the Home page as well  Laugh

I recently bought an unplugged T-Mobil Vibrant Samsung Galaxy S while I was in the U.S.  Now here in Norway I think I've got a basic working knowledge of the machine.  Except... I am unable to access the internet through my carrier - while I can access the internett through Wi-Fi at home.  Does anyone have any ideas about this?  I am exchanging e-mails with the phone service provider, but so far nothing.
Thanks - great questions and answers   Smile

Thanks for your quick response.

When I go into Settings - Wireless Network - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names, I get a message "APN Empty"  "Add an APN?"

When I go into Settings - Accesibility I see a note "Downloaded accessibility application is required to activate"

and I also have found a message (although I can't find it right now) "DM initialization is not ready".

I hope these help you.

Nah...age is just an excuse. If you're willing to learn/read, many people here are willing to teach/write.  Wink Wink

Your first step is correct. You'll have to "Add an APN" settings in
When I go into Settings - Wireless Network - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names, I get a message "APN Empty"  "Add an APN?"

You can get the information from your carrier or search your carrier's website. Normally they'll put it there.

Very useful tips and tricks,  I've enhanced my knowledge greatly with this forum and I'm sure it will continue. Happy Keep up the awesome work team!!

I have an issue I can't overcome.... Maybe someone will know.

How to add yahoo mail account to the default mail app. I can add three of my own carrier accounts, my hotmail account, and my gmail account but not yahoo account. Any way to achieve this?

There is an Official Yahoo App in the Market maybe you can try that.

Also Once you have installed it, It seems the option to add it in the default Mail App becomes an Option.

Peace.

Yes I know about the Official Yahoo App in the Market, I am using it as we speak. But I just  thought I might be able to just use one app for checking mail of all accounts instead of a few. I thought it might preserve battery life. I could be wrong about that. I may have to keep using it though as I see no way to add it to the default mail app in the settings..... I see a sync option but not the add option. Hmmm... I may not be looking at this the right way.
