How to sync my Calendar with Facebook?

Hello.. I'm new here and I'm new with SGS too..

I have a question about sync-ing my calendar with Facebook..
how should I do to sync them?

I already tried App > Calender > Menu Button > Setting > Calendar Sync > Facebook Account > Sync Calendar.
but in my calendar still don't show my friends birthday..
anyone can help me.. Happy

If you goto Calender > Menu Button > Setting > [Calendars], what do you have in there?

hmm..
there 4 rows with check button in the right corner each..
there are : All Calendars, My Calendar, my Gmail account, and my Facebook account

I already tried to check the Facebook account and/or my Calendar, but still nada..

Maybe try checking only the FB account leaving the rest unchecked, then press [Menu] and [Calendar sync].

yup.. I already done that many times.. check this and unchecked that.. check that and unchecked this..
but still didn't show my friends birthday..
it's only show my facebook event (although I already decline / not attending that event in Facebook and check the 'hide declined event' in setting)

I'm sorry, I've no more idea. I don't FB. Maybe you need to check the setting on FB.

Well, all facebook birthdays will be synced to 'my calendar' on the phone. so you might want to enable that in calendar and see whether it's there.

A far easier way is to remove the account and add it back to sync again, this will definitely work

I try to remove facebook and add it again.. but now it doesn't work at all..
I even cannot connect to facebook to sync my SGS with Facebook..

yea, it's a known bug, had that once, i reflashed my firmware becos i was lazy to find a solution, you could either keep trying, find a solution or xda or backup and reflash

Maybe you can try following the first 3 steps from Here, tap on Calendar and clear its cache and data.

This will erased all your presently saved entries/events.

I restart my SGS and now try to sync again..
and yes, I can login to my FB to sync-ing but it's load forever to get friend list from my FB..
I try to push cancel button, and now not all friends that listed as my friends from FB.. Angry

what happened here.. >.<

Sync Contact and Calender to Facebook after update

2 days ago, I upgrade my SGS' OS to froyo, and my problem in this thread

was solved (I bring my SGS to Samsung Service Center).. they said it's because I'm in Android 2.1 so I cannot sync my Calender to FB properly.

my question is.. is what they said is true?

now.. I already in froyo.. but yes.. there is another problem..

I add some new friends in FB, and of course it didn't appear in my friend list in SGS unless I click the 'Sync now' at my Contact right?
ok.. I click sync now.. but this is the problem.. I always get this message :
'Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly'
I already tried it for this last 2 days, and always get that message..
I cannot get my new friend in FB and add them to my contact in SGS because of this..

anybody can help me on this?
