How to: Set contact picture, and Create/edit user profiles

Hello everyone!
It's my first day with the Galaxy S.

I was just configuring some settings on the phone when I realised I can't seem to get into some areas:

1. How do I set pictures for my contacts in the phonebook? I can't find the option or menu to do so.
2. Where can I create user profiles, and also edit the default "Silent mode" profile (I just want to disable vibrations in silent mode)?

Go to Contact list ->tap on contact ->tap menu button(left of home button)->tap edit. On the edit screen you will see a blank photo holder with a plus button this allows you to choose what photo you want. Hope this helps. Sorry can't help with second question.

For point 2, strange, when mine is Silent, vibration is off too, unless I enable it (slide notification area down, top right button). That means for both incoming call and incoming text.
Furthermore, I don't see any "profile" setups, like other phones usually have.

Thanks kimputer and billb!

For the contacts part, I am not seeing the plus button, perhaps this is because my contacts are in the SIM card instead of the phone?

And as for the Silent mode, I think enabling/disabling vibration affects both general and silent profiles simultaneously. Because when I disable vibration for incoming voice calls, and turn on silent mode, the icon on the notification bar becomes a "muted speaker" icon instead of a "phone vibrate" icon.

You are correct, SIM contacts can't have any other linked info, because of the limitations of SIM memory.
Therefore, both with Google, Corporate or Phone contacts, you will see the empty space with the plus sign to add a profile picture.
Just give the Copy Contacts (SIM to Phone) command, and after that, filter out the SIM contacts in the Display Options (so it won't display twice), and start having fun (link ringtone, pics, etc)
