 HUH? Hey there everyone. I am soo confused. I have been trying to get my video phone work for a month now and nothing. I even downloaded fring and even tried tango. But even these dont even work properly. The camera works on fing and tango but not facing me only facing whatever is in front of me. Are phones have 2 cameras front and rear. But reg. video phone doesnt work at all. Is this a Bell Canada thing? Please any hlelp. The Bell rep didnt know.

Which model do you have?

The Vibrant do not have a front-facing camera.

Some of the Galaxy S variants have their front facing camera disabled.

If you'd still like to check it, dial the following on your phone:

*#0*#

You will get a list of the various things that you can test, among which will be an option for the secondary camera.
I'm not sure whether this works on the different variants, but it does on the International version.

You could also try selecting the self-shot option while in camera mode.

These are just checks to see if your secondary camera's enabled.

The front facing camera does work. However, you need to purchase a BELL service for your BELL phone. It costs $5 per month and gives you UNLIMITED Video Calling between BELL Video users and also facebook to Video phone (i.e. someone on PC with facebook and webcam can call you on  your videophone.  Undecided thankyou for all that information, I really appreciate it. It's funny how Bell doesnt tell you that the service is an extra cost, isnt it. I was so exited to get this option. Even google talk, msn chat, yahoo shouldnt they all have apps with video too? Confusing.

Yeah I know - my SIL and me were trying this and kept getting a no go when we both had front facing cameras and video call capabilities. I'm not paying $5/mo for that though.
