Hi,

I have Samsung galaxy s i9000 , which I bought in India.
firmware version :- 2.3.3
baseband version :- i9000DDJV4
BUILD NUMBER :- GINGERBREAD.DDJV6

I want to install any roms , perfer darky as I have read a lot about it.
Can you please guide me how to do it ?
Do I have to root my device ?
which files to use?
Can I revert back to factory settings firmware/unroot the device ?

I have read a lot about rooting device and installing different roms and I am confused and unaware how to do it , Please help.

Thanks

You should flash Semaphore or SpeedMod kernel to be rooted.
