How do I remove ring tones from my Galaxy?

welcome to the forum. hope u have fun discovering tips and tricks here. PLease do take a moment to check out the forum guidlines and rules before posting (link in my signature) and also try a search if u haven't done so already. but whatever you do...enjoy your phone:)


Btw, as for ringtones: I think you may be able to try file explorer and locate the files you dont want. If not you may have to root the phone to access the locations of the default  ringtones. "system/media" If this is the case you can follow the instruction on the 'how to root' section (link provided in my signature) and after gaining superuser permissions you will need to download  'root explorer' and enter the media files. there you will see 'ring tones' - i'm presuming u just delete the ones u dont want.

try to look for a file manager app in the market which has the ability to locate that, but I think rooting will do the trick.
Rooting will bring you to a new phase of using an android powered devices, that is liberty to do what you want ( as what you've red in the forums) but its your choice not to. as for me Im enjoying the freedom!
