Hi guys - who knows how to 'delete all' for my regular emails.  i download from my server (non google emails) and gets lots of emails there. if i dont delete after 3 or 4 days, i end up with 100 emails or more.  BUT i cant see where or IF Android lets you make a 'delete all ' option.    i have to PAINSTAKINGLY  go and tcik every single one of these individually to delete on mass.  its just damn painful and needs fixing it this option is missing.

they offer  'delete all' in text messaging and i think incoming/outgoing call history.. but not in emails.  if not.... this is a clasic OVERSIGHT by them.

can anyone help. is thwere an app that will solve this.. or am i missing the option in android ???.

also anyone know how i can relay this as a request to Android developers - is there a forum or email for that?:   hopefully there is the option and i just cant see it

who knows about this.  thnx for your help.

I'd recomend using K9 Mail, which is a free email app from the Market. Better than the built-in app with more options including the option to Select all emails in a folder so you can batch delete.

thnx Cookm,  i had heard about this app.  so will give it a try. thnx for tip.  seems strange google android left this pretty basic feature out of their email client.   wish they'd fix it. but will give k9 the chance to impress me.   cheers
