I'm sure this topic is discussed somewhere here, but here's my problem;
My phone will not start - it started playing up and GMail crashed, then phone wouldn't start at all. I just want to do a factory reset. The problem is, the three button modes do not work on my phone. I do have a Gig that I bought for this reason, and this is the first time I've used it.
The problem is, it puts me into download mode, not recovery mode. I've got no backup of the ROM etc - I just want a reset! Any ideas? I had hoped Kies would let me do an emergency recover, but it wants some sort of recovery code, which I don't have as this is not a failed upgrade situation.
I have dowloaded Odin, which detects the phone when in download mode - but I don't want to download anything ideally - just recover!
Any help appreciated
