Wrong sms sender name

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S and I have noticed an issue in the last few days.
Sometimes when I receive an sms it displays the wrong sender name. This is causing a bit of confusion especially when you reply because it of course goes to the person your phone displays as the sender.
Does anyone know about this issue and how to fix it?

I had this problem when i first had my phone too. Rebooted it and now its ok till now.

Same here, I've rebooted tons of times but it still happens occasionally! Any fixes please?

This happens occasionally on my Galaxy S I9000 as well. It usually corrects itself, the entry that is. But, when it first pops up the notification it sometimes has the wrong name. I get confused.

Think it's an Android issue. Happened to my gf who has the Doid 2 for Verizon. Issue went away by itself after a few minutes without a reboot.
