Hi Everybody

I recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate with Kies 2.2 (Best Buy Canada)

In the space of 6 months I have accumulated a number of important text messages that I need to save on my PC for future reference or print.

However Kies does not have the provision to transfer text messaging from phone to PC. Checked with Samsung Tech Support and they verified that too.

Can someone help me with an external app which could solve the problem?

Thanks

Ray

I know it's late to reply but you can use Titanium Backup too.

Try to follow the below steps for transferring text messages from phone to computer.
Connect to Motorola Phone Tools.
In the Folders pane, access the folder where the message you want to save is saved
Select the message you want to save.
In the File menu, click on Save as option.
Now rename your document in the File name box.
Select the folder path where you want to save your document.
Finally click on Save button

Well, there are many ways you can try to transfer text messages from Galaxy to PC, you can use such tools: iPubsoft, iStonsoft, Vibosoft, and so on. These steps can help you:
Step 1: Connect your Galaxy S4 to the computer
Step 2: Preview and Select the Text Messages You Want to Backup
Step 3: Start transferring the selected text messages to PC

I used vibosoft Android Mobile Manager, Well,to print your text messages, you msust first export your text messages from your Android phone to computer, but due to the text messages and contats are saved in phone's SMS cards and not in SD card, so, you need to extract  messages from SMS crad to your computer. As for me, I used Vibosoft Android Mobile Manager program to export all data from phone to cmputer.

If you want to manage your data of your iDevices, you come to the right place. Well, copy your iPod, iPhone and iPad back to iTunes & PC is os easy to do. With iPhone Transfer software, you can transfer videos, music, photos, playlists, contacts and more from your iPhone, iPad and iPod to iTunes and back to your computer as easy as pie. If you lost data of your iTunes library, replaced your computer or even re-installed OS and forgot to back up your iTunes library, you might have lost your media on iTunes. Even if you try to sync with your iTunes account from your iDevice, it will almost surely be wiped out. Here, all you need is iPhone Data Transfer program to restore everything in your iTunes library with ease.

Vibosoft Android Mobile Manager is such a powerful program, that allows users to copy SMS from all kinds of Samsung phones to PC with one simple click. And the exported text conversation will be saved as CSV format, that means you can directly open and edit it on your desktop PC as you like.
