Guys _I have tried my level best to get rid of the firmware Gingerbread XXJVK to Icream Sandwitch but some how I am stuck
may sound dumb but Odin does not work for me no matter what I do.. The minute I connect my phone with a usb cable with my laptop or any other pc I get an error " The usb is not recognized blah blah blah" I have installed every possible driver and tried my level best to get this issue fixed I just cant get to Odin and I am going mad and want a new version on my phone
I have Rom Manager installed I have rooted my phone every thing but I am just stressed out now -I tried Kies but it does not work

I am fedup any help please how can I update my phone to a new version I am sick and tired now

Attaching the actual error below

One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognized it for assistance in solving this problem. click this message...

I get this error in any computer i plug my phone to..
pp-s using the same cable HTC desire works fine on my computer its only my phone problem
I've also tried this on several computers now...
My phone is not recognized in any of the computers

try the usb of the back of the PC (not the frontals), or try in a windows XP system.

Go>menu>settings>applications>development: tick USB debugging.
Flash a cwm compatible kernel like Midnight or SpeedMod.
- Download the latest Build and gapps from Teamhacksung's site on XDA.
- flash them via recovery.
- you are done.

You need 3 things:
1. the driver: Samsung USB Driver for mobile phone. You can download it from the web.
2. Orig. USB cable.
3. an appreciate ROM, but I suppose you are on a Sammy ROM.
