Thanks for posting this! I just have one question about the browser: does the text reflow? I saw one review of someone using the browser, and it looked exactly like the iPhone browser. The text stayed exactly the same width no matter what the zoom level, which would be terrible since that's one of my favorite features of Android.
What do you mean?

Do you ever have to scroll side to side to read text in the browser, or is it automatically wrapped to fit the width of the screen?

Whew, lucky!
It is a really nice looking phone, and does it really feel that light, like noticeably light?
The pictures are crisp, very crisp, I cannot wait for a vid.
Simply put, how is it compared to other phones you have used?

Under settings, you can choose auto fit for the website to fit the width of the screen =)

Well..if you consider omniaHD and iphone as heavy, then Samsung Galaxy S is feather light =D

I have uploaded a video taken at night, do you guys want more videos of perhaps moving objects or stuff like that?

I only nokia 6220 classic and omniaHD, played with iphone (naturally). I would directly compare with my previous phone omniaHD...the youtube included is usable, web browsing is great but I trying to find out how to view full versions of sites instead of mobile version, video player is totally awesome, gallery is very very usable, you can just use gallery to browse through pictures based on folder name or date taken, I should just do a video review lol.

I'm afraid it doesn't resume after reboot but if you do not shut down your phone and even if you exit music player, you can resume.

Yeap, it's real cool =D Wow, didn't know Samsung will be launching a phone in outer space, europa is one of the moons of jupiter =p

I currently have a Nokia 5800 and I would like to transfer my contacts to the Galaxy S ( once i get it ) and probably 95% of my contacts include home/mobile numbers and company/titles/email adds and copying it to the simcard only moves the very first number.. Is there a way around this ?

Try to sync your contacts to outlook and then sync with galaxy S? I would be doing that some time tomorrow. I have another short video here:

Nope, I don't find anything along that line, perhaps I didn't dig deep enough...but even so, perhaps in future when the crackers come and crack the rom, we should be able to get a vanilla version of android 2.2.

ooooooh yea, the old touch wiz were BAD. the widgets were pretty much useless, it eats up a lot of battery and it really feels like a lousy skin but well, this one is pretty much more functional and does away with the old touchwiz stuff like a vertical sidebar which you can close ....yea, this one is good so far compared to the one on omniaHD...battery life wise...look for the majority opinion because I'm a video buff, I should be posting low results lol.

More pictures of the Galaxy S compared with the thickness of a low end samsung flip phone and microSD card, measured screen length as well:

I just tried again, there's text reflow on gsmarena.com but not on gizmodo non-mobile site.

edit: For some sites, there will be auto text reflow on pinch zoom, if it doesn't text reflow, do a double tap for it to reflow. If not, most of the time I'm guessing, pinch zoom will allow text reflow to kick in
