OK I asked this question in trouble shooting and got no response so I will ask here too, Hopefully somone will reply.

I am having trouble deleting photos, I have deleted a couple of photos and would like to delete a few more but for some reason my Galaxy S won't delete any more, I select the photo and tap delete, this is where my phone locks up and won't delete, I have to end task to get it to work again only to find the photo didn't delete.

I have tried turning my phone off then back on, it will let me delete one photo then it locks up again when I try and delete more

Is there a fix for this?

You can also delete it using a file explorer. Try Astro.

The pictures are in the phone memory, I was able to delete them using Kies, but that caused another problem, which was Media Scanner went to 100% and locked me completely out of Gallery. I fixed that by turning my phone off then back on, I haven't had any trouble since then.

Hopefully that is the end of your problems, but if it does reoccur I'd backup up all your data and format the internal phone storage.
