Guys,
I am a complete newbie to the forum. If you think that this forum is not the right one for my query, then please point me to one.
I have a Galaxy SL (GT I9003) which I recently upgraded from Froyo 2.2.1 to GB 2.3.5 and then to GB2.3.6 (all official upgrades through Kies).
I have noticed a severe battery performance degradation after the upgrade to GB2.3.6.
Earlier on Froyo, on a full charge my battery would last for atleast 1.5 days (on moderate use) and mostly for around 2 days.
Now, by the end of the day, the battery drains down completely. The battery drains so fast that even on plane mode with all the wireless components switched off and no background app running, the battery drains by almost 20% in 8 hours! Earlier on Froyo, it would drain by 3% for the same duration
I did a bit of googling and found that some battery calibration needs to be done after flashed ROM. Is this also required for official upgrades via Kies?
Guys any help will be great.
