I had the same problem with the battery.  I found the problem was all the running apps, particularly Social Hub.  The device Task Manager does not show all the runnings apps.  I downloaded Memory Booster which has a Task Kill feature and I use that to kill ALL apps as soon as I turn on my phone.  Before this my battery would drain 10% after turning it on for less than an hour and when I looked at battery usage I saw that it was Social Hub and display eating up most of the power.  After getting memory booster my battery lasts a lot longer - 4 hours of idle time uses 10-15% whereas before it was only 1 hour to use 10%.  I hope this helps.

My phone gets used A LOT.  I'm a bit of a gamer and play on my phone.  If I'm not playing with it then my son is watching videos on it.  So it only lasts 1 day.  I don't even know how long one charge would last on minimal use of the phone.  LOL

Well, 1 day on battery is good scenario actually, considering phone's config and d fact that only 1500 mAH battery supports it!!!

n 2hrs of gaming on a giant 4" super amoled with 1ghz hummingbird processor and adreno 250 gpu, is gonna cost your battery!!!!

In my Galaxy S2 battery stays for less than 2 days when doing literally nothing (just few calls and few e-mail checks). Power saving mode is activated on 70% of power. WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth are off. No apps are running according to AppManager. I have activated YahooMail and News&Weather (weather mode only) apps.
What do I do now to improve battery life? Please help.
