Galaxy S for Sprint- awake mode after update

after the last 2 updates the stay awake mode doesnt work w a cigarette lighter plug or a usb cord plugged into a cig lighter plug. it worked great till the update


i had to buy a ac/dc adapter and plug in the home cord to make it work for maps and while driving

i use it on my bike and truck and use it alot

is there a fix for this or am i screwed and to keep using the adapter
PITA while using the motorcycle
