http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/07/05/samsung-i9200-galaxy-s2-details-leak/

Galaxy s 2 will be revealed in Korea within the next two weeks

it's officially planned to be released in early 2011

the specs are pretty much 2x better than current galaxy s and will destroy iphone 4 hardware wise

2x cpu speed
2x ram
better camera
4x built in mem
better screen

this is not really a rumour as my sister is a Samsung employee and told me about this when I told her I wanted to buy Galaxy S 1. she basically said to wait until S2 comes out and wait till S1 goes down in price.

I would wait for the Galaxy S 3 because it will be much better than the Galaxy S 2.  Wink Wink

Why not Galaxy S 4? Should be better than Galaxy S 3.

And then 5 will be even better than 4 and so on.....

The present model already have GPS. Only disadvantage ATM, is the lack of proper offline Navigation applications.

If Map Navigation is your main concern, WinMo will be a better choice, for now.

Yes, it has the GPS, but it is not fully functional.
You can reference this if you are an AT&T or T-Mobile customer.

This is what I am being affected by and it is frustrating.

Yes, I tried http://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/samsung-galaxy-s-how-to/gps-problem/msg1584/#msg1584 and it did not make much of a difference.

I did however speak to someone at AT&T and was told that an update for the Captivate is expected to be released on 9/18/10 which will correct the GPS issues customers are experiencing.

Thank you.
