Hi there,

Does anybody know about the launch of an external keyboard?
Everybody talk about the input facilities, as the impressive "swipe" but I think (and I know that many others also do) that the possibility of an external BT keyboard would add a lot in user experience when not in the move.
I have read something about Android not having a developed driver for it, although there are some tries.
So... anyone with news in this arena?

Marcio,

I too am wondering if there is an external keyboard available for this device.  I took my Apple bluetooth keyboard to the store today to try and sync with a Samsung Galaxy phone, and although it sees the device, it does not allow synching.

Would anyone else be able to comment?

yes they are working well.

I am not selling product.  "freedom pro" blueooth keyboard.

you need to install the driver on the phone.
and it works

maybe there are some keyboard do not need driver. but most of them are needed to install them.

The current versions of the Galaxy @ do not support the Bluetooth HID profile, only SPP.  Some bluetooth keyboards have what is called dual profile support, ie the keyboard supports both HID and SPP.  A 'regular' bluetooth keyboard supporting only HID profile will not work.

Does anyone know if HID is supported in Froyo?
