Hi guys,

Yesterday my Galaxy S fell on the pavement. Result: the glass is cracked.
The phone is useable though, it cracked on the speaker and the touchscreen is also working fine.
There are some sharp pieces sticking out though and dragging down the taskbar is als a little bit dangerous. Gorilla glass is quite sharp guys!

Now, my question is; I found this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Outer-LCD-Screen-Lens-Glass-Samsung-i9000-Galaxy-S-/370524604926?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5644fcc9fe#ht_1383wt_905

Is it enough to fix my phone? I'm quite handy and I wonder if it's possible to do this myself?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Best people to fix that would be samsung. But, they may charge you for it.

Risk with doing it yourself is that you may damage it more and you may end up paying more to get it fixed.

well , what u listed here (the ebay link) is an "outer" LCD screen , but in ur case i dunno if it's that the cracked thing is the outer screen or the inside one ... but since ur screen still can display , then it must be the outer screen soo u can do it yourself without any risk , just watch a youtube vid on how to install/replace an outer galaxy s screen and do as they do !

goodbye and good luck !

There is no such youtube video showing just the outer glass replacement on the galaxy S.

Tons of other videos disassembly etc.
