Good day everyone!

I am very sorry for posting this kind of topic but i really can't find answers to my problem. To tell you honestly i really am a newbie when it comes to technology and i desperately need your help guys.

I downloaded connectify because as far as i've read in forums it's the best way to share my laptop's LAN. I was able to create a wifi hotspot using connectify but my phone doesn't seem to find it, my phone keeps scanning forever. What do you think is the problem? Do you have any better suggestions guys? I am using windows vista and my phone is samsung galaxy Sl.

Responses would be very much appreciated. Thankyou! Takecare

Hello

I'm not sure what the problem may be, but I want to give you feedback upon Connectify. I'm using it and it works quite well. Are you sure you set it up correctly? I  mean, if you try with another device, can you discover the network? I think you'd better write more info

Good luck

Connectify sometimes only allows you to set up an ad-hoc network. It depends on the Internet connection. Is this your case ?
I believe Android smartphones can't connect to ad-hoc.

connectify only works with wireless on laptops that support AP mode, some of the wireless cards on laptops does not support AP mode,so i guess that is the solution of your problem Wink Wink
