Hi everyone, wondering if someone can help with a problem i have been having for a few weeks.

Overnight, my SGS has lost in the region of 50-70% of its power whilst locked. Using the Battery Use section in settings, it shows that the display has used the majority of this power. I have no task killers, the only app i installed was a battery monitor to display battery level in statusbar.

This phone has been sent to Three UK once, and came back worse. It is currently on its way there now. I am wondering if anybody here can help me with finding a solution if it comes back as it did before.

Thanks

If you are on gingerbread (2.3.x) its probably the common battery bug. Once your phone reaches 100% phone drops the charger and starts to spend battery like its not plugged. Happens on all stock based gingerbread roms
