Is there a way to export the contacts from a Samsung Galaxy S2 to the Mac Address Book app?

A rather rude Samsung support person (they are usually friendly) told me that the only option for exporting contacts is through Kies, which only interfaces with Outlook, a Microsoft product.

I told him that it is not very user-friendly to insist that people buy from Microsoft in order to export from the phone, and he basically said "tough bikkies" (not in as many words, but that was the gist)

How can I export my contacts in a way that Address Book can import from?

So ...

Turns out the Samsung rep misled me.

Had another look at Kies, and found the tab where it syncs with Mac's Address Book - all sweet (once I get Google to restore the Family and Friends groups it decided to delete)

This whole problem began because I discovered two Family groups and two Friends groups on my phone, with different members. Tried re-syncing with Google - no joy.

Have been trying to get Google and Samsung to sync properly, without losing data - hence my concern about backing up onto Address Book.

Might have to reset my phone (once I get all the info safe in one place Big Smile)

the best thing about Android is that it supports all the app. I think you can get some app to do that.
