Galaxy IIS and Hyundai Bluetooth Phone Contact List

I recently purchased a new '12 Hyundai and at the time of purchase had an iPhone 3GS.  The salesman paired my phone with the car and my contacts downloaded to my Hyundai media system.  About two weeks later I upgraded my phone from the iPhone to my new Samsung Galaxy II S.  However, with this new phone, I cannot get my contact list to load in my Hyundai.   I receive a message saying the contact download is not compatible with my phone.   How can a new Android phone not work with a bluetooth system when a two year old iPhone does?  I love my phone, but I cannot believe a feature this simple is not supported.  Can anyone help?   Thanks!

This is amazing! I cannot imagine how techie we are today. Cars with blutooth and GPRS..this is so cool! I'm pretty sure their are lots of dealership for this.
