Hey there. I'm pretty new here.. (first post Big Smile) and I'm deciding if i should get the Galaxy S II. Well actually there's only one thing, that keeps me from doing so.

I read that a notification will come up, when the phone is fully charged. Does it do this?^^^'

And if yes, can you prevent it from vibrating and ringing, when the notification pops up?
Well probably the phone will be charged around 2AM. and actually i want to get some sleep then Big Smile And i'm sure that this notification will wake me up.

So i don't want to buy a phone, that keeps waking me up every night Big Smile
Would be nice, if someone could give some advice =)

Thanks =)

You can mute it with tasker. Details here: www.galaxys2tips.com

There are some developers on XDA that are working on a fix for it but you have to root it.

I DID however find a tip on galaxys2tips.com that shows you how to stop the notification sound on the Samsung Galaxy S2 without rooting if you use Tasker. Check the tips and tricks section for the work around.

Go to the apps store and download an app called  Battery Charged Silencer.  It allows you to set a quiet time which I guess could be 24 hours.  I have used it in Android 2.3.3 but since going to  ICS the full charge  notification doesn't play anymore..

My preference is an app called Battery Notifier Pro BT.
It puts your battery charge % in big easy to read numbers up in the notification bar.
See attached pic.
It lets you control both low charge and full charge notifications, and defines a quiet time when both are muted.
