I have had the Samsung Galaxy S for about 2 months now and I do really like the phone.  I have recently had some issues with it though...  Some text and multimedia messages (a lot lately) do not go  through and or I do not receive them either.  I also noticed that when the screen is turned off it tends to flash occasionally.  I have listed the firmware vs and things below.  Can some one out there please let me know if they have had this issue.. If I need to upgrade my firmware =...  It would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hardware Version i500.04
Firmware Version 2.1 - update1
Baseband Version s:i500.04 K.DI14
Kernel Version 2.6.29
Model Number SCH-I500

Not for her version of Galaxy S, she is either using the Fascinate or Mesmerize look at the model number (sch-i500)

@ Thread Maker, you need to upgrade your software to Android 2.2.1 let me know which model of Galaxy S phone you have whether it's the Mesmerize or Fascinate.
