Anyone of you guys have any information about when Celluar South will finally release the FROYO update? No one seems to know anything at the store.

My issue is that Skype does not work with 2.1, and I need Skype to save on international calls.
Also,

Is there any way I can get the 2.2 update through Kies and not wait for this Second coming of Christ over the air update? I have tried Kies 2.0 and Kies mini, but they both say my SCH-I500 is unrecognized.

I am right here with you..... Seems our phones are the same as the Verizon Fascinate. I'm trying to dig up all info I can on this issue. I won't accept that we can't get access to our phones via kies or update the firmware. I've got my phone unlocked and rooted.... just having trouble figuring out the proper path to update to froyo....
any help is greatly appreciated!
