I'm in the same boat.... CSC is CPW so I'm stuck with the 2.3.3 battery drain bugs.  If I use Odin to update, I'll have to re-install all my apps.  Who has to fix this?  It is Samsung?  or Carphone Warehouse ?

Is there any difference in firmware between kies update & flashing xxjvt via odin (before offical release) ??

at present KIES give me error of that country code

I have been checking updates for my phone and it is still FROYO, 2.2.1. No updates available.

I have been wandering through many ROMs for some time now. I want to come home. 
Where can I find the official version of ROM with which I can connect to Kies and update firmware?

The ICS update is a bit hefty on the data size, so you unfortunately will not be able to receive the update over the air (OTA). Rather, you will have to fire up Samsung’s proprietary Kies phone-PC interfacing software. If you don’t have it yet, step 1 is to:
