Hi guys. I've got a Galaxy S which was imported from Hong Kong. So far the 2.2.1 ROM was the best for me. Just a few days ago i saw that the 2.3.3 update is available thru Kies so I said, let's try it. Well, I didn't like it very much to be honest. Yes. I liked the new icon bar but performance-wise the phone got sooooo slow. I used to get 1200 on the quadrant without any lagfix. After the update that went down to 928 Crying (before You guys ask me, yes, i put it back to factory settings before and after the update as well) I wouldn't worry about the numbers and scores only, but the phone got very slow. Specially when you go to Gallery, it was soo sluggish. So i have downloaded the stock 2.2.1 ROM and used the ODIN to put it back. Now i'm happy again, I think the performance is way better. Please let me know if you guys have better experience. I'm talking about stock/factory ROM's not custom ROM's. So i'm looking forward to see new rom's but thanks, at the moment i'm not very keen to update. Thanks for reading this, Have a good day guys!

The Qudarant score: 900-1000 is normal on a new ROM (stock or custom).
You can use a lagfix to improve the speed.
But what is the lagfix? Is it an app.?
No. To use lagfix means that you set the filesystem (/system,/data,/dbdata) from RFS to ext2/ext4.

@alvajuju Thanks for the heads up, because now I check because we're neighbors (Netherlands), and it's also available here now.

Old: PDA:JS5/Phone:JPY/CSC:JS3(XEN)
New: PDA:JVH/Phone:JVO/CSC:JV4(XEN)

Strangely, needs a whopping 3000 MB for the upgrade to even start.
