Hi,  Installed about a month ago the I9000XXJP2 and now I'm trying to upgrade to the latest official 2.2 via KIES.
Running KIES 1.5.3.10103_100
Running Firmware Upgrade
I get a message saying that this firmware version can't be updated.

is there a way to download the latest firmware and just overwrite this test version?

Regards,
enigma

I'm getting this issue also. Most annoying as my Froyo build is getting sluggish and want to ensure I have an official release.

Tried the method of changing the Regedit with no success.

Anyone know if I can download the latest version and just use the ODIN to install it like I did for the current version?

Which is the latest 2.2 version/revision?

You have to use the old Kies version. The new version cannot be hacked.
