I dont know why. This is since i upgraded to gingerbread. You upgraded from Froyo to Gingerbread. Did you download a Gingerbread ROM of bootloader version at that time? Which ROM are you on? Which ROM have you downloaded? You may have a Gingerbread ROM with Froyo bootloader. If I were you, I would reflash the GT_I9000_XXJVO_XXJVO_OXAJVO_Sbl.
