hi today kies told me there was a latest firmware version 1.5.3.10093_31 and my latest download is 19000xxjm1 kies said i have the latest firnware for this handset so....i downloaded the newer kies and now its saying i can download the latest firmware update....but any ideas what it will be i know it wont be froyo lol so what can it be i am in uk simfree running on o2 if its not froyo why upgrade i am lucky to have kies working fine on windows 7 and my galaxy has no gps probs or lags i am thinking if it not broke dont fix it but then again ......any advice thanks

AFAIK JM1 is just an updated eclair firmware. You could go ahead and update, but it's most likely NOT froyo..

It tells you that then when it checks your device it will allow you not to update if you don't want to. If your SGS is working the way you want it to then why update before the big day?
