hi IonSingh..i already do method 1 & 2 but i cannot do method 3..when i do method 3 (unplugged from charger) my phone are in on mode not in RECOVERY mode.
1) Turn OFF phone
2) Charge till it says it is FULL
3) Start in RECOVERY (volume UP+Home+Power), here WIPE battery stats (it is in the "advanced" menu).

any ideas?

Recovery mode:
Keep pressing "Volume up+Home+Power" buttons till Samsung logo appears then release all the buttons.
What will happen?

Ah thanks for the pointer. It's really hard to tell which version is which if all see is these codes. I flashed it and Installex JVK; i just hope it doesn't have these slow-downs. Btw, what do you guys use to backup your data? Because while I recovered my contacts, it hasn't merged all my facebook/skype/phone contacts, so i'm facing hour or so organizing them all again...

turn off the phone and press the key combination in the following order

volume up + home key + power key.

Hold these key until you see the device power up. At which point you need to let go off the power key only.

Keep the volume and home key pressed. let them go when you see the words recovery menu on the to of the screen.

Peace.

You should have a CWM.
1. Download and extract "CF-Root-XW_XEE_JVB-v3.1-CWM3RFS.zip".
2. Flash the "CF-Root-XW_XEE_JVB-v3.1-CWM3RFS.tar" using Odin or Heimdall.
3. Flash this kernel "Gingerbread-GT-I9000-stock-kernel+hacks.tar" using Odin or "SGS Kernel Flasher".

1. Backup your data using Titanium Backup and disable lagfix.
2. Close Kies!
3. Open Odin_v1.3
4. Put the "Gingerbread.....tar" file in PDA field.
    UNTICKED: Re-Partition.
    TICKED: Auto-reboot and F.Reset Time.
    NO .Pit
5. Go to Download mode on your phone:
Keep pressing "Volume down" then keep pressing "Home" then keep pressing "Power" button till appears the yellow digging android. Release all the 3 buttons.
6. Connect your phone to the PC.
(Odin should assign it a comms port which will be highlighted in yellow. It won't matter which port it is, as long as it assigns it one. If it doesn't, then you have a problem with your windows drivers and you cannot continue. You will need to remove the battery from your phone to get out of download mode).
7. Click "START".
8. OK, hopefully the flash has completed without issue and the phone has rebooted. Odin says "PASS!"
9. After totally reboot disconnect your phone from the PC.
You are done.
