hey guys... after reading this discussion i plugged into keis and upgraded the software... FROYO is available and upgrading smoothly.
but after upload and all i am facing some forceclosing issues that i never faced in eclairs...

as soon as i unlock the phone it hangs and a msg is flashed... TwLauncher (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped - Force Close.

anyone there who can guide me how to resolve this????

When you say you want to "Transfer my apps to the INTERNAL SD card". Do you mean the Built In Storage (8GB or 16 GB). Or do you mean and External SD-Card that you insert opposite to the Sim Card Behind the Phone.

Either Way please make sure you have enough space to complete the transfer.

Hey All,

I have upgraded from 2.1 Eclair to 2.2 Froyo two days back. However, I found this one a bit slower as compared to Ecliar. Also if you go to contacts and the list of alphabets it gives you besides the screen to reach to the alphabetical order  of contacts I noticed that some of the alphabets are missing in it. Like B is not there E is not there and so on.

Is it a bug ?? Anybody noticed any other noticeable changes apart from this after upgrading to Froyo.

Regards,
Parag

How are you trying to move them to the internal sd card? There are only a few applications that support being moved to the sd card. You have to go to applications and click on the application to see whether the move to sd option is enabled or not .

If that's what you're doing and are still facing these problems, try doing a hard reset first(remove battery and sim, then reinsert) and if that doesn't work either, I would suggest a factory wipe..which would delete all your applications and settings. That might get your internal sd functioning again.

Good luck!
