I know that samsung is still working on froyo update ( android 2.2 ) for galaxy S , but the android 3 will be released in october . They say that it will run on phones with 1 ghz cpu and 512 mb of ram . display must be at least 3.5 inch .

Galaxy S has the needed hardware ,so my question is , will u put/make android 3 for galaxy S ??

That would be really nice considering that we spent a lot of money on this phone and we wouldn't like it to be left behind . I think that nowadays it is very important that the company supports and takes care of its products as long as it can ( hardware limitations ) .

Haven't heard about the release date for 3.0, but the specs he listed are correct.

Galaxy S Pro hasn't come out yet, so Samsung probably will release a 3.0 update in the future.

He has arrived now. I already have one. It would be very nice from the samsung ensure this update.

There is no galaxy s pro... the only different version you can get is the sprint epic 4G thats a samsung galaxy with a hardware keyboard.

I do think this things with pro comes from HTC with their HTC HD and HD Pro...

Sorry, did not see the "PRO".
The initial post only mentioned Galaxy S. The Galaxy S has the needed hardware, so I do not understand why referring the "PRO".
And would appreciate knowing that Samsung was working on Android Gingerbread 3.0 for Galaxy S

from what i believe and read, the galaxy s pro wont be released in the UK,.. but hey who needs the keypad,.. i prefer my phone as slim as it is! dont need to make it more fat by adding a keyboard Happy
