Hi guys,

I successfully rooted my I9000 to ICS 4.0.3.. Seriously for owner of I9000 that faces instability on their phone, should root it..

Full functioning like Btooth, Gps, Wifi and others.. Battery consumption is good... Use 2G will be longer.

Additional features are:

1) Face recognition
2) Photo & Movie editor
3) Widget shortcut
4) Reboot features and many more

Very smooth & stable ics experience (with some extra vanilla features)

Just hit the download button, do nandroid backup, do a full wipe if you coming from GB firmware (I recommend to do it to avoid issues/problems), install zip from sd card, let it boot & BOOM the dark knight rises  Big Grin

There are plenty of ICS ROMs available for the i9000 on XDA Developers website. Navigate to the specific forum and you will find plenty of stable ROMs and ports.

I for one have tried plenty of them and have found faults but I can genuinely say that CyanogenMod's version 9 (CM9) has be the best and has been my daily for the last 3 weeks. No problems whatsoever. The battery life isn't too bad either.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

If you have any questions, please do a search before posting a new thread and if you can't find anything, then try to put the new thread into the correct forum.
