Hello people, I hope I havent left this too late, build is GINGERBREAD.BVJVC and baseband version is I9000BVJV3 running 2.3.5 on the Orange netwirk in the UK. Is it still possible for me to root?

Flash the latest SpeedMod or Midnight kernel via Odin.

Thank you Saszseb for all your help and patience, also to Iron Singh for the original post. I successfully rooted over the weekend, even though I am not very good in these sort of things. I went for the speedmod kernel whic.h I am very happy with

Is there an alternate site to download the required CF-Root files? Most of them seem to have used Multiupload.

Hi you all am new here.

I have the samsung galaxy S GT I9000 rooted my phone with one click method that succeeded.
The following phone info:
Model no GT-I9000
Firmwareversie :2.3.3
Baseband-versie I9000BUJV3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7- I9000 BUJV9-CL188519 root @ DELL103 # 2
Build number: GINGERBREAD.BUJV9.

Well I have the donated version superuser and bussy box and the problem lies in the:
Rom Manger Premium  5.0.0.6 v : 3e recovery.
CSC : ( I9000GVODJV5 ) extra info from dial *#1234*
--------------------------------------------------
I only get the message:
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed.

I dont want update 3.3.6 becose off the wifi problems..

What can I do.

Ive just recovered my phone after flash went wrong, so I'm being particularly careful when I flash again.
I want to root my phone - galaxy s. Details are as follows
- GT-I9000
- Firmware version 2.3.3
- Baseband version I9000XXJVO
- Kernel version 2.6.35.7-I9000XWJVH-CL184813root@DELL101 #2
- Build number Gingerbread.XWJVH
Can someone pse advise on what rooting file I should use?
