I just rooted my phone 2.2 with z4root and i try to install  One Click Lag Fix ( OCLF.2.3.0) but it didnt work, it says the lagfix failed do you want to email the log to the developer so that it can be cheked. Help me please , i rooted my phone but its still lagging Crying

( OneClickLagFix V1 + failed with error: Could not link loopback device /dev/loop5 to /data/linux.ex2! losetup: / dev/loop5 ) I get this when i click on lagfix....

( OneClickLagFix V2.2+ failed with error: Could not mount loopback device / dev/loop5! mount : Device or resource busy )

Are you sure your phone is rooted?
Can you see the superuser icon? Looks like a Grey android pirate on a black background?
If you cant, you phone is rooted and OCLF wont work. Also I think you need busybox installed - do you have that?

Yes i have Superuser icon but i m not sure about busybox. I think that i dont have it. Will it work if i install busybox?

You can try.

The easiest way to install busy box is to get titanium backup from market.

Click on problems? It will attempt to install busy box.

Nope it didnt work Crying i get the same error. How can i fix it ? Anyone had same problem before?

here's what I discovered. reboot your phone now that you have busybox installed. If that doesn't work - root the phone again, using super1click then reboot your phone and see what happens. I have found this to work for me. Busybox then asks for permissions as does OCLF.

Try that and let me know what happens.

i just tried lagfix without SD card and it worked. Thank you Happy Happy My phone is very fast now Happy
