Are any lights on? what happens if you push:
volume down (keep holding) then Home+ (keep hold both) + power button (hold holding all three)

If your phone goes into download mode then you have not bricked your phone. If any light on your phone at all then you have n't bricked your phone

it may be worthwhile giving IronSingh a pm. With all the different firmware's and csc files(what are they?) then you have the modem issue...some say, flash with two files, others three, and others say that you can flash with one. Some say repartition, others say don't repartition... some say flash, then flash again Once with and once without the repartition checked. It's crazy, tooo many voices shouting too many instructions.

Anyhow, IronSingh he helped me lots. I tried flashing three times. The twice I interrupted the process because instructions are not clear; well not for me anyway. Hence MY last thread entitled - JUST TO BE CLEAR. I'm not willing to try it until i have some positive comments on the actual process that I outlined.

Im glad you still have life in your phone - where there is life there is hope:)

the phone is OK now.. everything works with Android 2.1 Eclair.
so this is the story after i "bricked" the phone
1. tried to install Galaxy_S_I9000XXJM1_Eclair_2.1_UK with Odin but every time it stuck in Set Partition.

2. successfully flash it with I9000XFJS2 firmware.. after restart from Odin the phone come to recovery mode. I rebooted it but every time stop after Galaxy S bootup screen.. - black screen and nothing. Then I go to recovery mode i format internal memory, clear caches and and etc - all available options.

3. tried to flash it again with I9000XXJM1 and this time everything is OK.. phone is working normally but when i tried to upgrade it with Kies it tell me that this device cannot be updated.

So now i think to flash it with latest ROM - I9000XWJS3 - Android 2.2.1

btw sorry for my bad english  Big Grin

Im glad you got the phone working.

Might be worthwhile heading over to the XDA forums as you dont appear to have had much help here. Dont right off here though as everyone is probably busy at the moment.

I'm sure someone will be able to get you onto a present day firmware.

But I am happy that you managed to get it going:) that's awesome.

How long did you wait for the Galaxy S screen.

It can take upto 10 Mins for the Galaxy S screen to pass by.

Peace.

No Problem,

I recommend you do a Soft Reset after an Update

Enjoy your Phone.

the problem with my "freezing"  during the flash process is in my USB port Happy.
Now everything is OK with the phone, but sometimes freeze during transfer of large files. So i think it's from my usb port not from odin Happy.
10x for the help anyway..
