Hi All,
I’m currently on DDJV6 firmware (I’m in India

).

I have rooted my phone using fuguroot, flashed stock DDJV6 kernel and then flashed Speedmod Kernel “speedmod-kernel-k15h-t24-300hz.tar” to get CWM.
I wanted to flash XXJVR firmware as described in the tutorial below:
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/xxjvr-latest-galaxy-s-firmware/I’ve read that before flashing we should disable lagfix. I was looking at another tutorial on androidsoul on disabling lagfix from CWM.
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-disable-lagfix-on-galaxy-s-i9000-instructions/
The image above shows “ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.0 lagfix edition” but on my mobile it shows “ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.0 SpeedMod Kernel” because of which the instruction mentioned for disabling lagfix in the above link does not show on my mobile.
On my phone, when I click on “–advanced SpeedMod features” I see the following option:
- Reboot into Recovery
- Reboot into Download
- Switch to Recovery 3e
- ROOT / Install Superuser
- Convert filesystems to RFS
- Convert filesystems to EXT4
- Convert SYSTEM filesystem- Configure COLOR settings
- Configure optional features
- +++++ Go Back+++++
1) Can someone help me out with the process of disabling /enabling lagfix using CWM. Is there an easier way to find out if my mobile has lagfix disabled/enabled ?
2) After I have disabled lagfix, can I go ahead and flash the XXJVR as mentioned on the tutorial on androidsoul (after I have taken a Nandroid backup) ?
3) If i were to face some issues with the Modem after flashing XXJVR, can I flash another Modem like DDJV5 on top of it ?
