Thanks for the reply .........
Installation
- First time flashing ICS to your Galaxy S (or coming from another ROM)?
1 Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery. 2 Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo 3 Do a Nandroid backup! 4 WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition) 5 Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery 6 Optionally install the Google Addon 7 WIPE again or Calendar Sync will not work.
Could you please explain the 5th step ....... exactly what do I have to do ....
AND JUST TO BE SURE I CAN FLASH ICS DIRECTLY RIGHT OVER THIS (NOTHING ELSE TO FLASH EXCEPT ICS B-14 & GAPPS )(JUST A BIT NERVOUS) My galaxys GT-I9000 (INDIA ) I have updated to 2.3.6 Baseband- I9000XXJVT Buildnumber GINGERBREAD.XWJVZ ROOTED WITH SEMAPHORE KERNEL(NOT BM) AND LAGFIXED USING CF ROOT EXTENSION
DO I HAVE TO UNLAGFIX IT...?????
And for the suggestion you suggested SGS1 .....but it aint available now(GT-I9000) (I think)
And what about the other two options.......
THANKS AMAR....

-disable the lagfix -backup your data via Titanium Backup -do a Nandroid backup in recovery, just for case -download and save build_14 and gapps_7.1 to your internal SDcard. -turn off your phone. -go to recovery via 3BC. -factory reset+wipe cache -flash the build -flash the gapps -factory reset+wipe cache -reboot You are done. I did install voodoo control(titanium did it from my backup) but now it doesnt have the voodoo colour option it only has voodoo sound.
And some issues with ICS
1-- Sometimes the color of the screen changes on its own like it has a shade of yellow green on it and after a few seconds it will change back to normal
2-- Even after sliding the notification of whats app to clear it (on the notification bar) it comes again after some time
3- Sometimes the person calling me can't hear me despite both having full network and when I disconnect the call and call the person everything is fine....

1. I haven't experienced yet. 2. I don't use it, but I think you can set it on the preferences/settings. 3. It happened to me twice. I rebooted the phone. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
