HELP UPDATING I9000M 2.3.3 - 2.3.5/2.3.6

Hi, not only am I new to this form but im also really noob at rooting/upating through Odin and using custom roms.

Im looking for some help updating my Bell Galaxy S I9000M from Stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 to Stock 2.3.5 OR 2.3.6 (Value Pack)

Can someone help me out to successfully update my phone? I bricked once before trying to root it few months back and would like a safe way to do it all.
