when i turn the phone on it starts to boot but then seems to get stuck or crash at the galaxy s logo, it then vibrates a few times then goes black, but continues to vibrate every 10 mins does anyone know if it can be fixed or does it have to be sent back, have read about flashing a new firmware onto it but it wont boot into download or recovery mode, it got to this state when i tried to update the phone with kies but when it went to reboot after it never restarted again, any help is very apprecated thanks
Did you by any chance have a lagfix on your phone?
If so you needed to disable before you updated.
You have two options now, look for the
Jig or Take it under warranty they will simply reflash it for you under warranty just tell them that you tried to update through Kies and they will not question much. DO NOT MENTION ROOT AND LAGFIX.
