You should flash a SpeedMod kernel of Froyo version, than fix the 3 button combo.

Is it the method to Restore the rooted phone for company settings before claiming for warranty ?  Will this work for Samsung Galaxy GT-I9003?

If you need to send phone for warranty (and you have rooted or used custom firmware) you will need to get stock Samsung firmware back on the phone,  I use www.samfirmware.com they have a large range of stock roms for different regions and for a few variants of the 'S'.

Put into Download mode and flash the stock software using Odin.

Sent from my Galaxy S I9000 with Onecosmic's ICS RC3 plus V2
