Can I update to Gingerbread through Kies even though my SGS is rooted? It's terrible at the moment. Slow, crashes, let down etc. Kernel: 2.6.32.9 root@SE-S608 #1 Nobody answered in my last thread in the update section so i'm posting here. The answer is yes, but make sure you are not running any lagfix. The end result of a kies update will be an updated phone without root, and you will have to re-root the phone again. Peace.
