Hi everyone!
Thanks to this forum, i hav managed to root my phone.
I hav the indian build with baseband DDJV5 and build DDJV9 firmware 2.3.3
I hav rooted by flashing the latest speedmod kernel(installed su from CWM).

Im interested in flashing cyanogenmod 7, bt i have heard that one shud have froyo bootlader for the same.
So my question  is - how do i get one? Do i go to an official froyo rom? Or do i already have it?
I have clockworkmod version is  2.5.1.0. I have already done backup with titanium backup and also NANDroid.
No lagfix has been enabled.

Thanks

No, you don't need Froyo bootloader. Download the zip file and flash it in recovery!

Do i use odin? Or do i restore from CWM?
In case of using odin, can u give me a link on how to go back to a stock samsung rom?

Download your ROM (ddjv9) from hier ( http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-I9000&r=2#regiona) and flash it via Odin or Heimdall!

Download the latest Speedmod or Midnight kernel and flash it via Odin or Heimdall! After reboot your phone will be rooted.
