Procedure:
1.unrar I9000XXJPX
2.Open ODIN. (And close Kies, if you have it open. It is important to have ODIN open BEFORE connection the phone via USB!)
3.Select the PDA and .PIT files in Odin. Use Re-Partition !
4.Turn the phone into the download mode by pressing and holding VolumeDown+Home+Power.
5.Connect your phone with your computer and wait until the drivers are installed.
6.When the drivers are installed, click Start.
7.The phone will be flashed and once it’s finished, it will boot up. (Do NOT disconnect the usb-cable, remove the battery or otherwise interrupt this process!)
8.You have successfully flashed your phone.

Have flashed with the ROM, but after the process, my phone has booted and taken me to a page where i gones if volume up+menu+power buttons.

which odin pit file am i supposed to use?
Do i require any csc, or phone files.

you need just 512.PIT ... no CSC or Phone file!

It gets to that point.i surrender let me wait for another official version.. Thanks anyway Crying Crying

Can someone pls tell me what am doing wrong. It fails in the Flashing similar to TREE but after booting it brings a black screen with

Reboot system now
apply Sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
format internal sd-card

update media,please wait
E:Can't mount dev/block/st110
(invalid argument)
E: copy...dbdata...media:Can't mountDBDATA

your storage not prepared yet. please use UI me
nu for format and reboot actions.
copy default media content failed


The above is what i get. Any IDEAS ??? Angel

Am being told i encountered the problem because i first did not uninstall the Lag fix.. hmmm.... True i did not uninstall the Lagfix i just went straigiht to the Flashing, So how can i proceed from here??

Can anybody assist pls or direct me to a place i can get assistance.
