Finally a new version of KIES.
Hopely I can synchronize my agenda and my contacts without the message unknown error!!!
But it is very frustating. Now I am not able to do anything.
No synchronizing my agenda nor my contacts, and now I am not able to read or change my internal memory.
What is Samsung doing?
My Samsung Galaxy S is a wunder :full equipment.
But most apps are very very slow.
And last but not least I have to load the battery at least every day and mostly twice a day,
without using it very often.
With Microsoft Mobile OS I had very good experience while with android I am very disappointed.

Hmm,

Are you running 2.2 Froyo?

If so did you do a soft Reset After the Update?

Yes I use 2.2 Froyo. Also I have done (several times) a soft reset.
But no success.

If the problem you are having is only related to Sync try google's Sync.

It will sync your Calendar and Contacts with your gmail.

As for your battery Life issue.

Turn off the Data Connection and use it when needed instead of always on.
