Hi guys, I'm new here but i've tried looking around the forums using search however i'm unable to find a solution to this problem. So iI hope someone's able to help.
I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S II
Android 2.3.3
Baseband I9100DXKI1
Kernel 2.6.35.7-I9100DXKI20CL564948
Build GINGERBREAD.DXKI2
Ok, so here's the problem. I received a message which is supposedly an MMS however I'm unable to open it. Whenever it tried opening it the error 'The application Messages (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly' appears and a force close is prompted. I've looked around google as well, people who have this error are experiencing it either on different Android phones or different circumstances.
I've never rooted or done anything to my phone which changes the system or any of the system files.
Is there any way I can resolve this without factory restore or removing that MMS as I would like to view it. I'm also unable to locate the running application or file for com.android.mms ony my phone. Is it missing that's why I have this problem? I'd be glad if anyone is able to help.
